How do I reference a specific subassembly in the local product and even inside of a subassembly?

Example:

I have a subassembly called  "Shelves", it has Qty, height, etc and origin information. I want to the prompts in the local to look at "depth" of the subassembly for that specifically called subassembly. 

I can do the "=subassemblies!Q6" and but that doesn't automatically move or find that sub or the data I want. 

What if I had multiple subassembly with the same name? 

Can a subassembly look at another subassembly?
