Sorting part labels

Hello,

I am trying to get our part labels to sort based first on material, then on sheet #, then on part index #.
The issue is I am not very familiar at all with the report designer and can't figure out how to get sorting to work.

First of all, when I open the databand and go to the "Sort" tab, in the "Sort By" dropdown, I have no options other than [No Sorting]. When I try to add a custom expression, they just disappear after closing the dialog box.

What I've found is that in the "Data Source" tab of the databand, my "Count Data" is set to 1 (no clue what this means). If I set it to 0 and then select a table, sorting now works, however, my part labels do not populate anymore...

I'm guessing this is an easy fix, I'm just not familiar with the report designer interface and don't have a good understanding of how the data access works.

I've watched all the report designer tutorial videos, but I could not find anything related to this specific scenario.

Any help is much appreciated.

Thanks,
Josh
