True Helical Toolpath

Is there a way to make a TRUE HELICAL tool path in MV Parametrically?? XYZ IJK moves

Example ... using a Ø1/2" Comp to cut a routed through hole for a lock... Lets say the bore is Ø16.5mm or Ø0.6496" - So pretty close to the tool diameter.

At the machine the tool plows through the depth and interpolates the radius / diameter. and back out. It burn the stock, is hard on the tool and just general wear and tear that can be avoided with a helical path in and out.

The other option is ... we convert over to DRILLING all the varies LOCK DIAs we come across.

Could it be done with a PLINE Vector XYZ movements and BULGE? Also while being CORRECT and PARAMETRIC and in the RIGHT LOCATIONs ...

How do others tackle this?? We can easily change in WoodWOP / at the machine but that is a pain.
