Understanding the complexity of EPB/SMT's

I have an L shaped wall and I decided to break it into two sections and not three. I am using some of the commands for my "Start and End Offset", as well as double studs at seams. Here is an example of some modifications that end up in the model.

Also the Verticals and Extrusions PDF. shows how the locked changes I made to extrusions did not hold when I close out of the project and came back in and did a restore.
