We’re making it easier for you to get more out of Microvellum!

As Microvellum continues to evolve, we’re taking a deliberate step to simplify how the platform is delivered while providing more value to our users. The result is a more streamlined approach that expands access to capabilities and removes unnecessary complexity and feature restrictions. This change is intended to give teams more flexibility and fewer barriers as they design, engineer, and manufacture.

As of today, customers with a current Microvellum subscription will have access to every feature within Microvellum.

We’re also simplifying how product library data is delivered. Going forward, both face frame and frameless cabinetry are available by default within the Foundation Library.

You can access the latest software and library updates through the Microvellum Portal.

FAQ

Do I need to update my software license to gain access to all the modules/features?

No license change is required. Access to all features and modules is available when running build 25.2.0114 or higher.

Will my OEM version also gain access to all the software features/modules?

No. Microvellum OEM versions do not receive software updates and will not gain access to all features or modules.

How do I know what features are new?

After updating Microvellum, the first time you launch the software, you’ll see a message highlighting the new features and modules now available to you. The “Don’t show again” checkbox is selected by default, so the message will not appear on subsequent launches unless the option is changed.

Can I limit access to specific features for specific users?

Modules and features are no longer locked and cannot be disabled per user. Any user running build 25.2.0114 or later will have access.

Will my subscription costs increase now that I have access to every module?

All features and modules are enabled at no additional cost.

Is training on the new features/modules included?

Training for individual features or modules is not included. However, you can work with Microvellum Professional Services to support your team’s onboarding or use Microvellum University (MVU) courses for guidance on the Solid Modeling Tools and the Face Frame Cabinet Expansion.

Which versions of Microvellum have access to all features/modules?

Microvellum BSB, Microvellum AC, and Microvellum Production include access to all features and modules.

How do I gain access to the latest Foundation library update?

You can access the latest Foundation Library update through the Microvellum Portal. Navigate to Software Management, then open the Library Data tab, where you’ll see the library data available to your account.

Will the addition of face frame cabinets within the Foundation library interfere with my existing library?

Adding face frame cabinets to the Foundation Library will not interfere with your existing library or projects. Your current workflows, products, and library behavior will remain unchanged—you’ll simply have access to an additional category of cabinets to choose from, including the Range Hood product.

Is there existing training available for the face frame cabinet library?

Does this mean that all future features within Microvellum will also be included?

Future features developed as part of the core Microvellum platform will be included. As we continue to listen to customer feedback and advance the software, new capabilities and enhancements will be delivered through regular updates, so customers benefit from ongoing innovation without having to manage separate feature access.

How does this fit into the long-term direction for Microvellum?

This change is a deliberate step toward simplifying how Microvellum is built, delivered, and supported over the long term. By standardizing access to the full platform, we reduce development complexity, simplify our messaging, and streamline the internal systems used to support customers. It also brings Microvellum into closer alignment with other INNERGY products, such as DESIGN, where full feature access is already the standard, creating a more consistent and scalable product strategy.
