Processing Center Message Fix
- An issue was reported within the Processing Center. When processing an order, there would sometimes be an issue wherein error alerts or pop-ups would not appear within the interface, but instead in the background of the program. This could lead to situations wherein users would sometimes assume the software had crashed or frozen during processing, prompting unnecessary shutdowns or closure. This issue has been resolved, and alerts should now appear directly on screen when processing work orders, as intended.
Optimizer Change
- Microvellum’s Beta process for the new optimizer has concluded. With this, the Beta Optimizer has been set as the default option for optimization and will be referred to as the standard Microvellum optimizer in the future. To reflect this change, the option to use the Legacy optimizer has been changed in the interface from a drop-down menu to a checkbox.
Saw Trim Value Fix
- When processing a sawing operation using Microvellum’s current Optimizer, an issue would sometimes occur in which two values would be incorrectly controlled by a single option. When setting the value of the Leading Length of a part, it was sometimes the case that the Leading Width would be set to the same value, with the “Leading Length” option controlling both options. This issue has been resolved; the Leading Length value should no longer affect the Leading Width value.
Label Output Fix
- Users reported an issue with the Autolabeling setting, wherein label image files would sometimes be placed in the incorrect location. When “Shorten GCode Output Path” option is enabled, it is expected that all output files will be placed a single assigned folder location, being added to multiple newly created subfolders. Some users instead found that even with the setting enabled, new subfolders would be created for label image files. This issue has been resolved, and should no longer occur. With the setting enabled, label image files should be placed in a single folder, as intended.
Module Access
- With Microvellum’s new subscription model changes, all Microvellum Software Modules have become universally available within the software. Clients who have previously purchased any Microvellum Software Module will find they have full access to all existing modules with their subscription, with a single time appearance of the module list in the UI, alerting users of the modules that have been added, after which there should be no visible list of purchased modules or restrictions on the modules tied to your specific license.
About Microvellum UI Overhaul
- Accompanying Microvellum’s subscription model changes, the About Microvellum interface has undergone a visual change, relocating multiple options to a more linear, seamless list, as well as removed the module tracking section of the interface, due to the full integration of all Software Modules.
