How to Draw Products in Toolbox

Drawing Products

To begin drawing products, click on the Draw tab and then click the Draw Products tab. By default, the Base Cabinets category is displayed. You can change the product category by clicking on the drop-down menu.


Once a category has been selected, the products contained in it will be displayed. Select the desired product and right-click (or double-click) to access the quick menu. 

  

  1. Fill Wall with Products – Allows you to fill a wall with products by selecting a wall and specifying the distances from the left and right sides of the wall.
  2. Place Product on Wall – Allows you to attach products to a selected wall by selecting the anchor point of the product (left, center, or right) and specifying the distance from either the left or right side of the wall.
  3. Place Product Next to Another Product – Allows you to place a product to the left or right of a product that has already been placed in the drawing.
  4. Place Product at Selected Point – Allows you to place a product at any selected point in the drawing.
  5. Place Products Along Polyline – Allows you to place products along a polyline (products will be arrayed along the polyline).
  6. Add New Empty Product – Allows you to add a blank product at a specific point. This type of product allows you to create a product that does not exist in the current library.
  7. Product Prompts - Allows you to open the prompts interface for a selected product.
  8. Part Properties – Allows you to access the properties of a product. This interface will allow you to make further modifications to a product outside of what is available through the product prompts.
  9. Edit Multiple Product Prompts – Allows you to select multiple products and make modifications to them through a single interface.
  10. Replace – Allows you to replace a product with a different library product. Shared prompt values will be transferred automatically.
  11. Erase – Allows you to erase products from a drawing.
  12. Move – Allows you to move products in a drawing.
  13. Rotate – Allows you to rotate a product around the Z-axis.
  14. Copy – Allows you to copy products in a drawing.
  15. Draw All Products in Category – Allows you to draw all the products within a category. This is a helpful tool for learning about products or developing and testing products.
  16. More – Opens a new menu with various other tools.
