How to Load Rich Text from a Data Field in Report Designer

The articles in this section of the Knowledge Base involve working with Rich Text for display in your reports. To learn more about the Rich Text editor, and how to access this section within the Report Designer, see  An Introduction to the Rich Text Editor in Report Designer. The purpose of this article is to break down the different options within the Rich Text editor’s Data Column tab.

The DataColumn property can be used by the RichText component to load the RTF text from the data field. Select a field form the data dictionary tree to load the RTF text. The RTF text is automatically loaded by the report generator when the report is rendered.
