The following release notes apply to Microvellum build 25.2.0223.641.

Add 2D Elevation Tokens to 3D Drawings

  1. A popularly requested feature by the community has been added to the Microvellum software: the checkbox Add 2D Elevation Tokens to 3D Drawings is now available under the Drawing Preferences section of the CAD tab. This setting, when enabled, creates a 2D Elevation Drawing automatically when the 3D model of the product is drawn. This setting can be enabled simultaneously with the identical function that adds 2D Plan tokens, provided one’s drawing preferences are set to a 3D setting.

Processing Center Application

  1. A new Microvellum software application has been released: the Processing Center. The Processing Center application is intended to give users access to the full suite of Microvellum’s existing manufacturing tools to process existing work orders, independent of any existing CAD-based applications. It is intended to provide users with an enhanced experience and act as a replacement on the shop floor for applications like MV Production (or MicroManager). 1. In conjunction with the release of the standalone processing center application, the processing center within Microvellum AC and BSB has received an update to improve usability. The Processing Center (both in the standalone application and embedded into the software) has had a ribbon added to the top of the UI to grant users a fast, easy means of accessing the most used functions within the system. Users can now select part loading, work order management commands, scrap options, labeling and report options, and more instantly without needing to open a separate menu.
