How to View the Global Variables for Dowels, Cams, and Screws

1. Open Toolbox.
2. Go to the "Project Specification Group" under "Toolbox Setup".
3. Choose the desired project and select the global variables.
4. Under the "Machining" tab, open the section "Machining General Settings" and then "Cam, Screw, or Dado Construction Variables".

The Global Variables in red text are being pulled from the Hardware Wizard and cannot be changed in the Global File.

LookUpTable CustomSpacedDowels

To customize the spacing of dowels, cams, and screws for large or small panels, follow these steps:

1. From the Project Specification Group Interface, click on the Workbook Designer in the top left corner.
2. In the Workbook Designer, expand the Global Workbook and select LookUpTables at the bottom left.
3. Scroll to the top of the LookUpTables and locate the Dowel Custom Spaced Holes section.

Note: The Hole Locations Metric formula will automatically calculate the hole positions based on the Target Spacing and Panel Sizes. The Dowel Custom Spaced Holes are increased in increments of 32mm in Metric but can be changed based on preference. For more information, you can refer to the video provided.
