Toolbox Release Notes | Build 25.1.0603.641
The following release notes apply to Toolbox build 25.1.0603.641
Nest Tabbing Fix
- An issue was reported by users regarding tabs applying to small parts incorrectly. When small parts adjacent to each other had tabs assigned to be cut out, users found that the tabs would only be applied to one side consistently, with their machine routing the border and tabs of the first part without issue but then cutting through the tab when the border of the second part is being routed. This would sometimes lead to erroneously shaped tabs, tabs being applied correctly on only a single side of all parts, or tabs failing to register in G-code.
- This issue has been resolved. Tabs should now be cut correctly on small parts, on all sides they are intended to be cut into.
PTX Perfect Graining Fix
- Users reported an issue with sawing operations that have perfect graining applied. When using the Metric configuration sawing operations with a PTX (Pattern Exchange) file set as the output would sometimes experience an error and fail to complete.
- This issue has been resolved, and this error should no longer occur during sawing operations.
Import File Modification
- An issue was reported with the process for importing product files (.xml or .mvfd files) that are not present in their respective library.
- When importing the file of a product that is not present within one’s library, the expected outcome is that the product will be registered as “Product Not Available”, but the product’s data would remain intact. This was sometimes found not to be the case, however, as sometimes, products would retain their name but lose all their associated data.
- To remedy this issue, a new checkbox option has been added to the Import File interface, “Rename Missing Products”. With this option enabled, new products that are imported but not present in one’s library will register correctly with the “PRODUCT NOT AVAILABLE” name first and foremost, ensuring that their data remains intact.
Data Access Fixes
A pair of issues were reported regarding Data Access and the data catalog of the software sometimes experiencing an error.
- An issue was reported by users wherein making multiple alterations to project settings after deleting a project would sometimes cause an error, resulting in the data catalog not being able to be found.
- There was an issue wherein altering the data source in a newly created configuration (to Data Catalog) would sometimes result in the new data string failing to appear in the registry.
- Both issues have been resolved. The data catalog of a project should no longer be affected by new projects or project deletion.
