This document will catalog all releases for Microvellum Toolbox software builds that were released in the year of 2020. This encompasses builds 20.1.0203.641 to 20.1.1216.641.

The following release notes apply to Toolbox Build 20.1.1216.641.


2D Part Editor

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue with saw cut direction producing an error when picking an existing line on the X axis.
  2. Resolved an issue where associative hardware was no longer attached to the part after updating from single part editor. Also, unless the hardware is modified, it updates with original formulas.

Machine Tokens

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where setting a depth of a route to greater than the panel thickness would get incorrect 3D representation.
  2. Resolved an issue where using keywords in a token’s description could interfere with the token machining.  
  3. Resolved an issue where border bulges were incorrect if an AutoCAD drawing was created using ERP or Server. 

Part Properties

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where errors in token parameters could not be easily identified from the Part Properties UI.

CPOUT Enhanced

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where CPOUT Enhanced was not rounding correctly.

MV Commands

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where the MVSUBASSEMBLYPROMPTS command was not working from the command line.  
  2. Resolved an issue where the Draw All Products in Category command was not working as intended. Now products are being drawn in order according to how the library is set up.

Specification Groups

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where deleting a spec group left behind the material file components.
  2. Resolved an issue where adding a formula material would add it to the spreadsheet twice.
Modifications:
  1. Modified Spec Groups to include a check when deleting a spec group ensuring that it is not currently being used.

Nest Composite

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where updating or making new gcode from the nest composite would offset the setmill pointer to indicate tool comp instead of staying centered on the tool path.

  2. Resolved an issue where Plot Nests was not maintaining layout.

Labels

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where the Face 6 image was not showing in auto-labels when it was dependent on the Optimization Result Face 6 barcode.
  2. Resolved an issue where HBore barcodes were not being associated to the nest when processed along with single part processing stations.

Product List

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where the quantity of all selected items were not being saved to the database. 
  2. Resolved an issue where the Product List would close when a room was copied. 
  3. Resolved an issue where Column Group Titles were not visible. 
  4. Resolved an issue where sorting by description was throwing an error. This was dependent on Project size. 
  5. Resolved an issue where adding a column grouping and restarting the product list was throwing a fatal error. 
  6. Resolved an issue where columns added to the grid were always added to the end of the grid instead of following the order established in Grid View Settings.
  7. Resolved an issue where Product List reverted to row 1 after resizing columns instead of remaining at the same row. 
  8. Resolved an issue where adding a room in the Product List caused the Tree View to jump to the very bottom right of the list. 
  9. Resolved an issue where closing the Product List caused Toolbox to error out. 
  10. Resolved an issue where Product Lists from multiple Projects could be opened at once. 
Modifications:
  1. Modified code so that only products that are changed get updated to the database, improving speed. 
  2. Modified the Product List context menu, moving "Print Grid," "Export Grid," and "Grid View Settings" to the bottom.
  3. Modified Parts List Review command to include all parts and only show ones with a part quantity greater than 0. This ensures parts without a draw token are displayed in the list.  

Grid View Settings

Resolutions: 
  1. Resolved an issue where all the columns were checked ON when Grid View Settings was first opened, but they weren't actually turned on. 
  2. Resolved an issue where a save was prompted even when "Disable Prompt to Save" was selected. 

Project & Room Tree View Interface

Additions:
  1. Added many new features to Project & Room Tree View Interface. Learn More.
  2. Added the ability to multi-select items in the Tree Viewer for Projects and Locations (Rooms).

  3. Added the functionality of copying a room to another category.
  4. Added the functionality of deleting multiple rooms or projects at once.
  5. Added a visual displaying the last time the project was opened while hovering over it.
Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where renaming then copying a room resulted in products from both rooms being merged.
  2. Resolved an issue where the room .dwg was not being renamed along with the database record.
  3. Resolved an issue where copying a category into a child of the category would create an infinite loop.
  4. Resolved an issue that allowed for renaming the parent category in the Room Tree Viewer (the Room Name).
  5. Resolved an issue that allowed for the renaming of a project that was currently open.
  6. Resolved an issue that allowed for illegal characters to be entered in the Tree Viewer prompts.
  7. Resolved an issue where Projects with numbers were not being sorted correctly in the Tree Viewer.
  8. Resolved an issue where a child category could be moved to a parent category when named the same.
  9. Resolved an issue where moving work orders was hitting upon code intended for Rooms causing an error. 
  10. Resolved an issue where a duplicate room, project, or category name could be created using different capitalization. Now "TEST" is the same as "test."
  11. Resolved an issue where renaming a Project in Tree View was not renaming the same project within the Spec Group. 
  12. Resolved an issue where a copied project was not displaying the correct name outside of Tree View. 
  13. Resolved an issue where renaming a Project that did not have a project folder would result in nothing happening. 
  14. Resolved an issue that allowed a room to be deleted while it was open but the .dwg was closed. 
  15. Resolved an issue where the current project was not updating if the Project Status was changed.  
  16. Resolved an issue that prevented the top-level parent category from being renamed in the Projects list. 
  17. Resolved an issue where the wrong project was being opened when multiple projects were selected and then a project was double-clicked. 
Modifications:
  1. Modified functionality so that “Copy drawing file(s)” is turned on by default.

  2. Modified "Select from Recent Room" drop-down so that it is no longer typeable.
  3. Modified tree view functionality resulting in improved load times.

  1. Modified the minimum and maximum sizes of the Tree View windows to 200 x 400 pixels and 1200 x 1000 pixels respectively. 
Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where the new search feature was causing categories to stay open in the Tree View if search results were located in them. Now categories open with search results, but afterward are left expanded or collapsed as the user had prior to the search. 
  2. Resolved an issue causing slow load times with the new search feature. 
Removals: 
  1. Removed the AutoComplete functionality from the Tree View Search. Now the Tree View only displays items that match the current search. 

Employee Permissions

Additions: 
  1. Added the ability to Allow Project Rename.

Machine Tokens

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where Virtual Route would not display correctly in 3D when the token was set up to use a pocket (region).

  2. Resolved an issue where subassembly rotation would not allow the BORE token to use the associative parameters to associate to another part.
  3. Resolved an issue where shelf standards were not evenly spaced.

  4. Resolved an issue with CONSTHOLESPACING spreadsheet function not calculating correctly.
  5. Resolved an issue where help pictures for hardware machine tokens would not be displayed in the interface.
  6. Resolved an issue where shelf holes with certain machine points would not associate and run in the correct direction.
  7. Resolved bulge not working on PLINEFROMHOLES token and error message if Parameter 3 was incorrect.

Modifications:
  1. Modified help text for Type 2 Associative Shelf Holes. We also adjusted the help text for the Space from Top and Space from Bottom parameters to note the parts machine point.

Removals:
  1. Removed the DXF machine token from the software.

Scaling

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue with text alignment and Annotative Scaling.
  2. Resolved an issue where the dimension was not being moved over by the filler size in 2D images.
  3. Resolved an issue where the Explode Factor was using imperial values in metric libraries.
  4. Resolved an issue where text sizes were scaling down on redraw.

Database Management

Resolutions: 
  1. Resolved an issue where the exporter would try to pull the entire products table due to child-parent link between LinkIDCategory. 
Additions:
  1. Added “Clean up Materials in Spreadsheet” utility to the Database Management > Tools tab.

Modify Work Order

Additions:
  1. Added grids for other material types in the Modify Work Order UI. Learn More.

  2. Added Markup, Labor Value, and Waste Factor to the Modify Work Order UI.

  3. Added the ability to double-click the grid to edit the sheet.

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where the Change Material Name UI was not opening in the Hardware Items tab.
  2. Resolved an issue where selecting Update Factory Material with nothing selected in the grid would produce an error.

Products

Modifications:
  1. Modified "ProductComment" so that it can not be hardcoded anymore.
  2. Modified behavior related to replacing products. If there is a formula in the Original Product's Width, Height, or Depth prompt values AND that formula matches the formula for the Replacement Product, then the formula is not changed. Otherwise, the Replacement Product is hardcoded with the calculated value from the Original Product.

We received some reports of intermittent installation issues related to the previous 20.1.1006.641 Toolbox update. The issue has been resolved and the new 20.1.1012.641 build should be considered as a replacement build. The update was rebuilt without any modifications made to Toolbox. If you experienced issues installing the 20.1.1006.641 update, we suggest you request the update again.

Edit Design Data

Additions:

  1. Added a “*” to the workbook column when a workbook is modified, to help see which workbooks have changes in them.  

  2. Added Find and Replace and Name Managers to Edit Design Data.

  3. Added Toggle Hidden Columns A through P.

  4. Added thick borders to mark where a machine token starts for a part.
  5. Added Revert Subassembly context menu item in Edit Design Data. The menu item is only displayed if the selected subassembly in the spreadsheet can be reverted.

  6. Added feature to remove hardware items in the spreadsheet that are set to Skip Spreadsheet Sync to the new sync database command. 
  7. Added "Ctrl + O" hotkey for Open Subassembly in the Edit Design Data Context Menu.
  8. Added Maximize and Minimize buttons to the Edit Design Data UI. 

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue that prevented the Save and Redraw command in Edit Design Data to work while a subassembly was open.
  2. Resolved an issue where showing hidden columns in a subassembly view would not line the columns up correctly.
  3. Resolved an issue where Panel_Length and Panel_Width names could show up multiple times in the paste name dialog.
  4. Resolved an issue where import/export would not change LinkIDSpecificationGroup in the products table.

Modifications:

  1. Modified part filter to now be applied when opening a subassembly in Edit Design Data.
  2. Modified Edit Design Data UI buttons and look.

  3. Modified the Paste Name dialog. You can now select between Global Variables, Material Pointers, Pointer Thickness, Local Variables, Subassembly Variables, Nested Subassembly Variables, AutoCAD Blocks, and be able to select a DWG on disk.

  4. Modified Paste GUID to use mvnewLinkID instead of a GUID.
  5. Modified GroupFlexGrid and Product List to re-sort by default sort column and then clear sorts. 
  6. Modified Name Manager icon to match the icon used in the Workbook Designer.
  7. Modified Context Menu by rearranging the menu items into a more conducive order. 

Removals:

  1. Removed need to get all subassemblies while in Edit Design Data. Now only the needed subassemblies are collected. 

Materials

Additions:

  1. Added “Sync Materials from Database” button to specification group interface.

  2. Added Waste Factor and Markup Value to the Edit Multiple Materials interface.

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where creating a template level material appended a “(1)” to the name if it existed as a project level material.  
  2. Resolved an issue where Skip Spreadsheet Sync checkbox would not display in Edit Material UI when the material was imported and never added to a spreadsheet.

Modifications:

  1. Modified the “Import Materials from Spreadsheet” command to ignore materials that are project-specific when looking for matching materials in the database. The LinkID in the spreadsheet must still be unique for it to be considered a valid material to import.
  2. Modified the process of deleting a material from the material file, it removes the material from all spreadsheets as well.

Product List

Additions:

  1. Added new features to improve user experience within the Product List UI. Learn More. 
  2. Added multiple new optional columns that can be added to the Product List through Grid Settings.

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where closing and reopening the Product List would cause an error when processing Work Orders.
  2. Resolved an issue where the column width was not holding in the Product List Setup.
  3. Resolved an issue where columns in the Product List and Grid Settings were falling out of sync.
  4. Resolved an issue where renaming a sub-category in the Product List would cause an error.
  5. Resolved an issue where importing/exporting a project would cause the Product List to break.
  6. Resolved an issue where the icons in the new Product List UI did not match the existing icons elsewhere in Toolbox.  
  7. Resolved an issue where Item Numbers were not sorting correctly in the Product List.
  8. Resolved an issue where Item Numbers with leading zeros were having additional zeros appended to them in Product List.
  9. Resolved an issue where Parts List Review in the Product List was not showing how many parts you selected.
  10. Resolved an issue where comments that were added by double-clicking in the cell were not holding.
  11. Resolved an issue where the max number of sort columns was stuck at three.
  12. Resolved an issue where Saved Views were not showing as modified after adding a column group.
  13. Resolved an issue where renaming a room in the Product List would result in an error.
  14. Resolved an issue where the Product List could be opened multiple times without the various windows closing.
  15. Resolved an issue where Item Numbers were being duplicated across rooms through the Product List. 
  16. Resolved an issue where multiple Product List windows could be opened by going into another room in Toolbox.
  17. Resolved an issue where copying products from one room to another changed the item numbers.
  18. Resolved an issue where changing the font size in the Product List using the “+” and “-“ icons was not saving after closing.
  19. Resolved an issue where items in a grouped column were not displaying any decimals. All grouped columns now display full decimals. When columns are ungrouped, their decimals are restored to match the settings established in Grid Settings. 
  20. Resolved an issue with font sizes in Product List. 
  21. Resolved an issue where double-clicking a column or row threw an unhandled exception. 
  22. Resolved an issue where the Product List wouldn’t open after the “Command Line is Still Active” error. 

Modifications: 

  1. Modified the method of loading products and eliminated multiple hits to the database in a recursive method. This leads to faster load time in the Product List UI.  
  2. Modified the process of sorting columns in the Product List. Selecting an unsorted column sorts it in ascending order and it becomes the primary sort. When a sorted column that is not the primary sort is selected, that column becomes the primary sort. When the sorted primary sort column is selected, it resorts in the opposite direction. 

Removals:

  1. Removed “Item Number is Numeric” setting from the Options > General tab.     

Grid View Settings

Additions: 
  1. Added the ability to define custom views as well as assign or change the default view to any one of the saved views. 
  2. Added “Disable Prompt to Save when Sorting Column Data” checkbox to the Grid View Settings UI. This setting prevents the tracking and prompting to save changes while sorting column data.

  3. Added “Disable Prompt to Save when Changing Column Widths” checkbox to the Grid View Settings UI. This setting prevents the tracking and prompting to save changes while changing the column widths.

  4. Added “Disable Prompt to Save when Changing Font Size” checkbox to the Grid View Settings UI. This setting prevents the tracking and prompting to save changes while changing the grid font size.

  5. Added “Reset View” button, to restore the view to system defaults.

Resolutions: 
  1. Resolved an issue where selecting the Show Number Column setting in the Grid View Settings UI would prevent the Product List from opening. 
  2. Resolved an issue where selecting “Disable Prompts to Save when Changing Column Widths” and “Disable Prompts to Save when Changing Font Size” by themselves caused the setting to not stick after closing. 
  3. Resolved an issue where a view could be saved with only a space entered as the name. 
  4. Resolved an issue that created duplicate saved views when a specific work flow was used.
  5. Resolved an issue where having old saved views caused a conflict with the new Grid Settings, resulting in the Product List being unable to start. 
  6. Resolved an issue where renaming a saved view while there were unsaved changes reverted those changes.
Modifications:
  1. Modified the combo box in Grid View Settings to remove the ability to type in the selection. 
  2. Modified Preferences group in Grid Settings to be hidden for all uses of the grid except Product List.

2D Nesting Tools

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where adding a part through Part Tools would not hold the Part Name.  
  2. Resolved an issue where adding a part was not holding Part Name.
  3. Resolved an issue where updating G-Code in the nest was duplicating parts in the Nesting Optimization Report. 

Database Explorer 

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where the “Clean Up Orphan Records” tool was removing all of the Room Components from the data.
  2. Resolved an issue where Database Explorer would not allow you to export Room Component products.

Unified Work Order Database

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where renaming a Work Order while using a Unified Work Order Database would cause ALL of the Work Orders to be renamed.

XML Import

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue with XML not associating products to walls.
  2. Resolved an issue where XML import would fail if Item Number was not assigned in XML.

Login Screen

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where the Login Screen was displaying an incorrect Software Maintenance Expiration.

Design & Drafting

Additions:
  1. Added new command monitoring features to prevent crashing issues when hitting the escape key to exit AutoCAD drawing commands.
Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where an appliance on a wall would not allow the wall to be drawn correctly using the 2D Plan View command.
  2. Resolved an issue where the command Redraw 2D Plan of Wall would not redraw the plan view in the correct location.
  3. Resolved an issue with the Move Wall & Associated Products command, where corner cabinets would move twice the expected distance.
  4. Resolved an issue where placing a corner product on two walls would not update the elevation and plan views correctly.
  5. Resolved an issue where the upper corner cabinets with a Wall Offset greater than 0 would be offset double the amount expected after a redraw.
  6. Resolved an issue causing products to be drawn in space (away from the original location where the product was drawn) when redrawing corner cabinets where a 2D plan view was drawn without the product’s main wall drawn in 2D.
  7. Resolved an issue where using the Bump Product command would not move the 2D plan view of the product as well.
  8. Resolved an issue where the 2D section for certain products was not being created.
  9. Resolved an issue where using the MVMOVE command to move upper cabinets in the Z-Axis could cause a fatal error.
  10. Resolved an issue where drawing a 2D elevation or plan view would not draw corner cabinets correctly if they used the wall offset prompt. 
  11. Resolved an issue where 2D product elevation and plan views would not be added to existing views.
  12. Resolved an issue where the plan view of a product would not draw in 2D if only the secondary wall were drawn.
  13. Resolved an issue where the plan view drawing would move after redrawing.
  14. Resolved an issue where a corner product would not populate in a 2D plan view if the 2D plan view was already drawn.
  15. Resolved an issue where the elevation view would not draw correctly on an already drawn 2D elevation wall with an offset on the product.
  16. Resolved issue where placing corner products with a wall offset value, where the 2D elevation view was already drawn, and the wall selection was made by picking the two walls independently, instead of using a window selection, would draw the 2D elevation view correctly.
  17. Resolved an issue where selecting Delete Products from the Toolbox Product List interface was not deleting all of the 2D AutoCAD entities.
  18. Resolved an Object Reference Error that occurred when attempting to delete a product from the Product List interface if the product was not found in the drawing.
  19. Resolved an issue where bumping a product to a wall would not update the 2D plan or 2D elevation view.
  20. Resolved an issue where a cross-section would not be redrawn correctly after it was modified if a line had been selected as the cutting plane.
  21. Resolved an issue preventing the elevation views for products from updating after a change is made, and it is redrawn.
  22. Resolved an issue where 2D section entities for uppers could be drawn above the 0 Z plane.
  23. Resolved an issue where the room component on the wall with 2D plan view drawn, would not update correctly after using Adjust Wall Length.
  24. Resolved an issue where a corner product on the secondary wall was not rotating correctly.
  25. Resolved an issue where only one upper product would be added to a plan section, even when multiple uppers are on the wall.
  26. Resolved an issue where the text style would switch to F_Full when using DRAW2D tokens instead of Annotative.
Modifications:
  1. Modified the way Toolbox handles materials with custom hatch patterns. Now, when a custom hatch pattern is used for a material, the scale is set from the HPSCALE AutoCAD setting instead of defaulting to a value of 1.

2D Machining

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where updating from Single Part Editor would overwrite the width and length values even if they were the same as in the spreadsheet. 
  2. Resolved an issue that prevented a work order from being added to the list of work orders when it was created from the 2D Nesting Tools interface while on a Unified Work Order Database.
  3. Resolved an issue that prevented a new sheet from being added from the 2D Nesting Tools interface while on a Unified Work Order Database.

Engineering

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where using the Product Start Angle in the Solid Modeling Tools/Extruded Products would produce an error. 
  2. Resolved issue where Height Above Floor Prompt would not update after copying an upper product in the Z plane.
  3. Resolved a 3D Rep issue with dados that resulted when a very large decimal value was used in part sizes.
  4. Resolved an issue where certain hardware items would leave extra geometry when drawing a cabinet in 3D.
  5. Resolved an issue where Small Parts have a ramp lead in offset when none is selected, increasing the distance between parts setting.
Modifications:
  1. Modified the Cartesian point for creating a cutting plane to be the same Z value to get the correct distance.

Machine Tokens

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue preventing the handling code and total quantity from being written to the work order when using the Hardware Array Machine token to place hardware.

Processing

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue where parts that were Perfect Grained did not produce a part image when it was used with the Microvellum Sawing Optimizer.
  2. Resolved an issue where the image quality, when used in a report group, was not clear.
  3. Resolved an issue where having scrap enabled and using Associates and trying to update G-Code in a nest could produce an error.
  4. Resolved an issue where the Ardis processing station could only produce a WMF file type. Now, all image types are available when using an Ardis processing station. 
  5. Resolved an issue where specific cabinets would freeze Toolbox when drawing.
  6. Resolved an issue where changing the Scrap Material Name AFTER making new G-code would change the ID in the database.
  7. Resolved an issue where some horizontal boring machines were not deducting the edgeband amount correctly.

Data Management

Resolutions:
  1. Resolved an issue that was preventing the Import STEP and other file types from appearing in Toolbox 2019 updates.

Projects

Additions:

  1. Added the ability to increment item numbers by the project or the room. The setting can be controlled in the options page, under the “Item Number Setup” section. Learn more.

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue with the C.R. Onsrud Series S post-processor that created duplicate drilling on parts.
  2. Resolved an issue where the Ardis Parts file station would not produce the part image according to the file type.

Work Orders

Additions:

  1. Added the ability to add/modify sheet sizes and delete batches in the work order. Learn more.
  2. Added a drop-down of previously used names in the Work Order Creation UI. Learn more.

Modifications:

  1. Modified the Edit Existing Work Order UI to cause the search text box fields to have focus when the UI is first opened.
  2. Modified the work Order name field to allow it to be edited when creating a work order.
  3. Modified the Work Order Creation UI to provide more details about the products that are being processed (Example, “Product 2 out of 25 – Collecting Parts…”)

Engineering

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue where accessing certain subassemblies in the Part Properties UI would cause Toolbox to crash.
  2. Resolved an issue where the Part Properties interface could hard-lock incorrect values in for the X, Y, and Z origin.
  3. Resolved an issue resulting in Toolbox crashing when the subassembly did not have any parts with the Draw3Dbox drawing token in it or had just negative materials.
  4. Resolved an issue where reloading the same subassembly within the Part Properties UI and not saving the subassembly would produce an error.

Project Management  

Added:
  1. Added the ability in database explorer to drag and drop an entire library category and subassembly category folder from on disk into the database.
Resolved: 
  1. Resolved an issue where Database Explorer would open with values populated from Local instead of saved prompt values.
  2. Resolved an issue where updating a spec group component file through Database Explorer would add a "1" to the end of the name.
  3. Resolved an issue that was not allowing database materials to sync to the spreadsheet.

User Interface

Added:
  1. Started work on making the OK button the default for better use of keyboard and hand combination.
  2. Started work on adjusting the tab order of screens to have a better flow.
Resolved:  
  1. Resolved an issue where the tool strip would not hold a customized icon.
  2. Resolved an issue that would prevent unified work orders from being migrated to SQL due to a false error about database size limits.  This will only take effect on full version SQL.

Design & Drafting

  1. Added the ability for the Adjust Wall Length command to work with products that have a value populated for the Wall Offset prompt.

G-Code  

Additions:
  1. Added two new fields to spreadsheet tool files.  B79 is now MachinePartCutWidth and B80 is now MachinePartCutLength. These should be used in place of the others to determine the correct cut width and cut length.

Machine Tokens  

Additions:
  1. Added new EDGEBAND token that can calculate edgebanding for non-original edges.
  2. Added a Reference Face parameter for HDrills.  This will be populated for the CAMLOCK and EDGEARRAY tokens to identify which associated face the edge hole came from. 
Resolutions:
  1. Resolved issue that occurred when adding a lead-in or lead-out to a route. With this now populating correctly, the machine token options parameter will now be updated correctly, and the lead-in and lead-out segment will no longer display in 3D.
  2. Resolved issue where the BORE token would lose its formula and values for parameters 8 and 9 after drawing parts in 2D and updating the 3D model.
  3. Resolved issue with BORE token not updated or losing parameter data after updating in Single Part Editor.  When editing an array of holes with coming from the BORE token, it will treat any modification as a new hole.  You can no longer move the end or start hole.  It will just create a new hole.
  4. Resolved issue where copying a hole from an existing BORE token would create a copy of the machine token when updated from 2D to 3D. 
  5. Resolved issue where using the offset vertical drill parameter for the CAMLOCK token would always work correctly and move the hole in the wrong direction.
  6. Resolved an issue occurring when a part with a BORE token is drawn in 2D, and the associated face 5 or Face 6 holes do not get modified the token. Now the part will get updated back with the original formula values.
  7. Resolved an issue where using Stop Dado Gap values in the DADO token would not populate the machining correctly.
Modifications:
  1. Modified the tolerance that determines if a vertical drill hole falls off the panel.  Previously it was from the hole center plus the hole radius amount.  Note, we measure from the hole center plus 0.01. This will change the vertical drill hole for camlocks as well as other associative machining.

Processing  

Additions:
  1. There is a new button in the processing center that allows you to select a part in the interface and then use the "Clear Select Processing Stations" button to remove specific processing stations instead of all the processing stations assigned to the selected parts.  With the button selected, another window will be displayed, allowing to select processing stations.  Multiple selections are allowed.  All the processing stations selected will be removed from the selected parts.
Modifications:
  1. Resolved an issue where routes that ramped down the entire part where it started and stopped off the panel would not be trimmed correctly, potentially making a route that would cut into an adjacent part.
  2. Resolved an issue where some parts were being assigned to fields that they could not fit it.

  • Resolved vertical drill optimizer skipping hole groupings.
  • Resolved the 2D Machining Tools behavior that defaulted it to select a saw station. The 2D Machining Tools will now select the first available nesting or a single part station in the list if no default station is assigned.
  • Resolved an issue caused by using a straight-line route machine token and drawing a part in 2D. This resulted in the machining to be offset after it was updated and redrawn.
