Improvements
Floating Drawing Windows
- Right clicking the title bar and selecting Move to File Tab will now quickly return the Floating Drawing Window to the main application.
- A new feature is available in the title bar to pin the Floating Drawing Window to remain in front of the main application's window.
- An anchored command line window now stays with the active floating drawing window.
3D Graphics
- New graphics system is now fully integrated into Toolbox. It leverages the power of modern GPU and multicore CPUs to offer a smoother navigation experience for larger drawings. It is on by default and can be turned on or off by the FASTSHADEDMODE variable.
- When active the modern graphics system works in viewports using shaded or shaded with edges visual styles.
In order to get the smoothest and highest quality experience, it is recommended to be running a graphics card from the
AutoCAD Certified Graphics Hardware. An older graphics card may not be able to leverage the power of modern GPUs and multi-core CPUs.
