Adding CNC Macros to Gcode automatically
Quite often I'm required to machine components without machining a perimeter cut such as a sink cut out in a buyout post formed countertop. When creating machining in the composite drawing which has no perimeter part cut the macro to move the tool to a safe height in the z axis is omitted. I can add it manually but would like it to automate the process, as happens when there is a part perimeter cut, to avoid the potential for tool damage. I've spoken with the MV techs and they won't fix it as they don't think it's a typical workflow. Is it possible to make this addition?
