How to write a formula for a kerf cut Machining

I can only think of using Polyline machining token for this kerf cut. User imputs prompt " arc length". But formula seams to be never ending?

P1|P2|(If arc_length /0.5-1>0,P3|P4,0)|(If arc_length /0.5-2>0,P5|P6,0)||(If arc_length /0.5-3>0,P7|P8,0)|etc...

Has anyone done something similar? what's the best way to write this formula?
