Subassembly File Size

I have a subassembly file that takes a while to load and I am trying to figure out why. I exported it to the my hard drive and I found it to be nearly 1MB compared to other subassembly files which are 80-100 kB. I was wondering what makes the file size so large, and how can I compress it?
