Manage Application Settings (Migrate Configurations)
The Manage Application Settings interface has two tabs located at the top: Current Configurations and Current Preferences. Configurations can be set up to use another library, database, or data directory. Preferences are the settings controlled through the Microvellum Options. It is an excellent practice to create a “sandbox” configuration for learning and developing. A sandbox configuration is often a duplicate of the production configuration but is set up using a different database and file directory to help protect the company’s data. View the Microvellum Sandbox Environment Guide to learn more.
Under the Current Configurations tab, you can Add, Rename, Copy, Delete, Export, Import, and add a New [Configuration] from Default Libraries.
Under the Current Preferences tab, you are also able to Add, Rename, Copy, Delete, Export, and Import.
