Accessing the Solid Modeling Tools

To access the Solid Modeling Tools, click on the Solid Modeling tab in Toolbox:

  1. Solid Modeling Tools – Opens the Solid Modeling Tools interface, which allows you to create 3D solid models using the product builders.
  2. Smart Layer Manager – Opens the Smart Layer Manager interface. Smart layers contain settings and parameters that work with the product builders.
  3. Solid Model Properties – Opens an interface that contains all the settings and parameters for the product builders. Default values can be set up in this interface.
  4. Solid Model Analyzer – Allows you to create a manufacturable product from 3D solid objects quickly.
  5. Isolate Selected Solids – Allows the selected objects to remain visible while all other objects become hidden.
  6. Hide Selected Solids – Allows the selected objects to become invisible.
  7. Show All Solids – Restores all the hidden objects to become visible again.
