If you’re like most users, the version or build number of your software may not be that important. Whether it’s a beta major, minor, or beta build number doesn’t really matter, right? What is important is knowing whether or not the build you are running is the most current and being able to have a clear understanding of the features available in the software build. As of February 3, 2020, Microvellum will officially stop producing maintenance updates for Toolbox 2017 licensed software. This move to end the development of software updates for Toolbox 2017 aligns with Microvellum's development cycle to include maintenance support for the current release and two previous versions. (Toolbox 2020, 2019, and 2018) The most current software build for Toolbox 2017 is 15.6.2008.641. How Does this Impact Users? As of August 31, 2019, Autodesk® has officially ended support for all full version AutoCAD® 2007 and 2010 perpetual license software. We are pleased to announce that the update for Toolbox, Build 20.1.0203.641, will be available as a Controlled Release beginning February 3, 2020. This update includes several new features, stability improvements, and other modifications. Support for Microsoft Windows 7 officially ended January 14, 2020. Microsoft® announced that from this date forward, they will stop development efforts and technical support for Windows 7. How Are Microvellum Users Impacted? Microvellum software applications will continue to function on Windows 7 after the 14th, but Windows 7 will no longer be considered during product development cycles or defect remediation for issues impacting users with Windows 7.
