ISODRAFT Command

ISODRAFT Command

Turns isometric drafting settings on or off, and specifies the current 2D isometric drafting plane.

The ISODRAFT command supersedes the ISOPLANE command. The primary advantage of ISODRAFT is that when it is turned on or off, all related settings are automatically changed as well.
ISODRAFT automatically controls the following settings and modes when drawing 2D isometric representations of 3D models:
  1. Ortho directions
  2. Snap orientation
  3. Grid orientation and style (dotted)
  4.  Polar tracking angles
  5. Orientation of isometric circles

Ortho mode uses the appropriate axis pair from 30, 90, and 150 degrees.

The current isometric plane also determines the orientation of isometric circles created with the Isocircle option of the ELLIPSE command.

You can quickly cycle through the isometric planes by pressing Ctrl+E or F5.
The following prompts are displayed:
Orthographic

Turns off isometric drafting.

Choosing one of the following options turns on isometric drafting.

Isoplane Left

Specifies creating left-facing planes, defined by the 90-degree and 150-degree axis pair.
Isoplane Top

Specifies creating top-facing planes, defined by the 30-degree and 150-degree axis pair.
Isoplane Right

Specifies creating right-facing planes, defined by the 90-degree and 30-degree axis pair.
