Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage

Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage

Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage

We’ve added a variable to the Machining tab of the Configuration Editor. The Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage variable adds or subtracts a percentage of the tool diameter to the lead-in size.

    Original Lead-in Size = Bit Diameter * 0.75
Final Lead-in Size = Original Lead-in Size + (Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage * Bit Diameter)

The Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage does not affect lead-ins that are controlled by a machine token parameter.

Changes to the Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage will only apply to subsequently created Work Orders. Existing Work Orders will need to be recreated in order to update the Router Lead-in.
The final lead-in size for each Router Lead-in Adjustment Percentage can be found in the Router_Lead_In_Chart.xlsx workbook attached to this article below.
