Restore a Deleted Product
Is there a way to restore a product that is deleted from MV using the "Erased Product“ command? It is a custom product i worked from the product starter half way, then i accidentally erased it. ( the icon is kind of similar to the one for Redraw ehh...) Thanks!Express Tools

=IF(W!Standard_File_Wood_Drawer_Slide_Selection="Grass Dynapro 16",21,20) is the formula for our Max File Drawer Depth in our Global Variable file. I need to change this so that, if the drawer slide is Grass Dynapro 16 or Grass Dynapro 19, 21,20). I can't quite get my head around the syntax to add the "or Grass Dynapro 19" to the formula. If anybody can point me in the right direction, I'd be grateful. Also, if there is a good reference for this syntax, I'd be grateful learning that too.Solid Modeling Tools - Stud Spacing
In Solid Modeling Tools, when you add a stud(s) at a joint (say, for die wall), all the existing studs remain in their current location. The space between the new stud at the joint and the next (existing) stud will be different from the current stud spacing. It would be nice if Microvellum could automatically recalculate the stud spacing on either side of the joint. Right now, I do not believe there is a way to recalculate the stud spacing between the joint and the end or another joint. The studBlum Space Step

I was wondering if anyone out there is using the "Cutoff Saw" processing station type. I am trialing this right now to see if this might be useful for our solid parts going to our Salvador chop saw but am not having much success. The sample processing station from the v50 library is producing programs but they are so far from where I need to be I am not even sure where to start tweaking. Just looking to see if anyone out there is using this feature successfully or if I'm trailblazing my way intoReport Groups Exporting to Excel
When exporting to excel through the standard process it exports as .xlsx but when using the Report Groups it exports as .XLS (which is the older version)Solid model Profiles and sheet Sizes
FYI, When working with the Extruded parts portion of the solid modeling tools, If the construction path is longer than the material length, a "joint" is added to the part this makes perfect sense, But if the 2D profile that is used for the extrusion happens to be "deeper" than the width of the material, No joint is added. Example might be a 32inch deep solid surface countertop where the material is only 30 inches wide. I made the classic library designer faux pas. Can anybody tell me if there is a way to reference the cabinet name it's saved to the library with? When I look at the library, each cabinet has the correct name, but I put a formula in the Product Name prompt, and I want to reference that library name in that formula. Is this possible? Related to that, I would like to suggest the library designer have a feature to "uncheck all" with regards to the list of other cabinets that have this prompt. Then,corner cleanout for accepting pieces
Wondering how people handle doing the cleanouts of the corners of so that a square piece fits into a cutout that is made to accept runners or nailers? Out of curiosity, how big is everyone's factory database folder? We're sitting just over 14GB2D drawings for the shop and clients
Still in my first year with MV and everyday I am getting better with the program. I struggle with the 2D drawings though. I am able to use the MV features to actually draw them and what not but not sure on the layouts, formats, what details to highlight, etc. I would love to see what other users are doing for drawings that they present to clients and what they look like going to the shop. I don't plan on copying anyone just interested in seeing so maybe I can learn better.Differentiating between parts and copied parts on nesting summary report
So I had a report set up that used to work perfectly (until recently) as when parts were copied in the nesting patterns, half the information in the background wasn't copied at the same time so I used to be able to easily differentiate between a real part and a copied part. Now however, it seems that copied parts have the exact same information as the part they were copied from (the way it should have been from the start). I made changes to a room component and wanted to save it up, but I don't see an option to under Room Components. If I click to "Save Product to Library", I don't see that it lets me save it in the Room Components stuff. I tried saving it as a regular product, but it doesn't show up in the "Draw" list. I tried to make a new sub inside of a Room Component, but the new sub doesn't show up in the list of subs, either. Is there any way to make this work, currently?Adding a custom hardware item. I am at a loss where to start with adding a hardware item. It is a camlock lock. We are manufacturing furniture pieces that require these on all the drawers and doors. I need all the correct holes for drilling. I do have the 3D drawing from the manufacturer just not sure how to get it into MV and give it machine tokens and drawing tokens. It would be nice to have the built-in option for a “Hidden Wall” drawing type for walls that are under a countertop or something where a solid drawing line is not desired. I built it into an existing wall on a job but it will not let me save it as a global change.shelf pin sockets
Anyone use shelf pin sockets in their cabinets? I have a client that is insistent on them. I have no problem changing the size of the boring to the socket but what I need is a count of the sockets to order. Right now I only get a count of the pins (4 per shelf) but every hole will require a socket. Could I get a count of the linebores and use that? Thanks! Pete.How to save recovery file over room
MV crashed and I was able to bring up the recovery file which is great. I need to save the recovery file to the room I am working in but it is not allowing me to overwrite the current toolbox DWG. How do I go about doing this?Miter
Can a offline miter be set up with scribe? and if so how? Right now I only see Miter offline as a check box in the Machining Tab of the Spec Group Global Files. But our shop setup requires a set scribe sizeParameter 7 In Dado Machine Token
In this Parameter we are supposed to be able to enter two different tool numbers separated by a pipe ,This function has never worked for us, we have submitted tickets and we were told by the microvellum rep that he has put at tracker in to get this fixed. This was nearly three months ago, we would like to use the Au Premium Library 20.1.2 as this uses the enhanced machine tokens. Wondering if people are using the spreadsheets to manage the Clipboard Content. We can create categories in the interface but by default all the new information goes to the bottom of the category. HI, I found out an issue in the new library V50.6 Product Starter Horizontal: When i use full top , the top would set back from the edge of cabinet by a thickness of the material. It seems like it accounts for a finger pull rail even though it is not selected. I tried it out in Library V49.1 without this issue. I made a new product called Modesty Panel from a Base Scribe Filler. I removed the unneeded prompts and changed the formulas that referenced them (or deleted those parts as not needed) and all works fine. I changed the product description in the cabinet prompts, but the work order summary still shows it as a Base Scribe Filler. How can I fix that?Need help understanding a simple formula
This formula is for the height of a base filler. I unchecked "knotch for toe kick" and added .5 for scribe to floor. =IF(Notch_For_Toe_Kick=1,Height-Toe_Kick_Height,IF(Filler_To_Floor=1,Height+Scribe_To_Floor,Height-Toe_Kick_Height)) The height is 28.5". If I read this formula right, the value should be 29, but it's not. It's 28 1/2". Attached video shows the design data sheet and the formula check. The formula check indicates the value is 29. I've been building a simple slatted canopy that gets dowels machined into it to accept the cross members and the grain for those slats are horizontal. I've been searching up and down and don't see an option to set the grain in the model so I have been assigning the grain (force width) manually in the Parts Properties. There are a total of 33 slats in the two models so I'm wondering if there is a better way than going through each slat and changing the grain direction. I know that you can read a variable from many places in the main assembly G!, W!, from the subassembly L! The question I have is reading a value from S! and bring it to L! or another S! Since everything is a subassembly, how can I get a value from a specific subassembly? It would be helpful to our nesting labeling process to have a way to add labels to a default part label group and be able to change the part label per piece from that group when processing batches similar to assigning a toolfile to parts in the processing center.
