Microvellum Foundation Library Release Notes | Build 22.0304

The following release notes apply to Microvellum Foundation Library, Build 22.0304
Please make sure you are selecting the correct specification group when drawing products. There are specification groups for both metric and imperial.

Additions:

  1. Added dado machining and dowel machining variables to the global file for the “Wood Drawer box” as well as tooling variables. 
  2. Added new machining options for the bottom of the “Wood Drawer Box”.
  3. Added a variable to the door wizard for glass clearance, this has been updated to the MV profile door for glass cut-outs. 
  4. Added a new category of suspended cabinets. 
  5. Added 3D blocks for the Salice Silentia 200 range of hinges. 
  6. Added handles for each drawer front when using the drawer bank feature in drawer cabinets. Also added draw only grooves to represent the drawer gaps in 3D drawings. 
  7. Added an option to change the corner notch depth in Corner cabinets. 
  8. Added a Door-Drawer component subassembly. 
  9. Added an option to turn off the 2d plan and text on fixed and adj shelves. 
  10. Added a global variables to control the 2d filler text. 

​Modifications:

  1. Updated the light and heavy duty KV drawer slides to supplier specs and added the 3D blocks. 
  2. Applied name filters to all handles and hinges. This is to prevent the hardware machine tokens from associating to incorrect parts.
  3. Updated the “Wall Hangers” subassembly so that the hardware attaches to the cabinet sides instead of the backs. 3D Block rotations and hardware machining has had to be updated to accommodate. 
  4. Blum Intevo and Antaro hardware list have been updated in the hardware file to match the subassembly hardware naming. 
  5. Updated the help text & rendered images to better explain the difference between the Wall Offset and Cabinet Void prompts. 
  6. The top and bottom Valance variables will now hide for base and tall cabinets. 
  7. Component Doors and Component Drawers subassemblies have been revamped for ease of use in designer products. 
  8. The vertical rail within sink cabinets is now default to the facia height plus an overlay for the doors to close on.  
  9. Added new Flatshot tokens for a standard SW ISO view and modified the existing exploded SW ISO view. 
  10. 2D elevation view drawings will now display cabinet locks 

Resolutions:

  1. Resolved an issue with the length of the rails referencing the wrong cabinet depth left/right in the “Corner Shadow Rail Subassembly”. 
  2. Resolved an issue with the machining holes in the bottom of the “Hafele Alto Drawer System”.
  3. Updated the rail notch feature coming from divisions from a dado token to a Virtual Route. The dado was causing a 3D drawing issue where the rail was disappearing. 
  4. Resolved a part naming issue in the Countertop with Substrate product. 
  5. Resolved an issue with the face subassemblies where the top hinge was moving down the vertical rail height even when rails were not selected in the corner cabinets.  
  6. Resolved an issue with the hanger notch distance having incorrect default value. 
  7. Resolved the valance parts in the corner cabinets to the correct position and length. Also, there was no part for the right side. 
  8. Resolved an issue with the Titus Tekform where the machining from the gallery rails were coming from the gallery rail parts and the sides, so were doubling up. 
  9. Resolved an issue with the Applied End Panel Material prompt where it was referencing Adj shelf material as default instead of the Finished End Material. 
  10. Resolved an issue with 2d Tab Pull draw in the incorrect location and rotation. 
  11. Resolved several issues with the Blum Aventos lift systems positions.
