Toolbox Release Notes | Build 25.1.0213.641

The following release notes apply to Toolbox build 25.1.0213.641.

Stay Down Nesting Additions

3 new settings have been added to Stay Down Nesting, to resolve specific issues with routes and connectors that have been reported:
Fig. 1: New options in the Nest Processing Station settings.
  1. Stay down connectors in proximity have occasionally been misidentified as circles by specific machines, causing an error during processing. To resolve this issue, the Avoid Shared Connectors
setting has been added, which, when enabled, causes the stay-down path to avoid connecting routes with bulges.
  1. It was sometimes the case that connectors of a certain shape that included arcs (such as an S) would have small line segments appearing and being machined as separate segments rather than parts of the arc. To resolve this issue, the Use Flat S Connections setting prevents small line segments in arcs by flattening S-type connectors into straight lines.
  1. Operations that required the stay-down nesting lead-in and lead-out placed at the edge of the sheet would often find their set mill placed at the center of their sheet or part, rather than at the edge. To resolve this issue, the Place Set Mill on Sheets Edge setting allows users to optimize the set mill of a part on the edge of the sheet, rather than being set to inside of it.

Draw Selected Products in a New Drawing Improvements

Fig. 2: The Draw Selected Product(s) in New Drawing option.

  1. Improvements have been made to the existing Draw Selected Products in a New Drawing feature, to enhance the feature’s usability. Previously, products drawn in new drawings would frequently be placed far away from the center of the drawing, coordinates (0,0,0). In addition, attempting to modify or interact with the new drawing using any MV commands except those found in Modify>Product Detailing would result in an error.
  1. The feature has been improved to remedy these issues, with the newly drawn products being placed as close to (0,0,0) as possible, and attempting to use commands other than the modifications will no longer result in errors, but simply pop-ups alerting users that other commands will not work with the new drawing.
