Add Hyperlink datatype
Would it be possible to add a hyperlink datatype for use in product prompts. This would allow us to direct our designers and drafters to lots of extra information during the design process. I am sure there are other areas that this would be useful for as well that other users will come up with.
Temporary Processing Station Changes
I would like it if changes made to the processing stations from the processing center were not saved outside of the work order without being prompted. Sometimes i like to make tweaks to the processing stations for a specific work order and it would be nice if i didn't need to remember to come back and undo those changes later. Basically when you hit OK on the changes i would like a popup that says something like, "would you like to commit these changes to the tamplate?" or something like that. Otherwise
AU Library Download
Hi ca anyone send the link to download the AU library thanks no links to any of Au Downloads
Improved Show Formula & Product Prompts
I would like to suggest the following imrpovments to the product prompts. I like the how the text box control type turns red when it is formula driven. Can we expand this to other control types? Red Radio Buttons for controls types 2&3 Red Check Marks for control type 4 Red Text for control type 5 I like how i can right mouse and show the formula for a text box control. Can we add this functionality to all control types?
Add more fields for materials
It would be really useful if there could be more fields for extra information about materials. Just like comments fields on products or xpart fields for parts. This would allow to give more information in our reports and give more information to the designers while assigning materials.
Commenting in the Knowledge Base
With the previous Zendesk Knowledge base, we were able to make comments on the articles posted. Now we don't have that option. I would really like to see this come back since the comments of other users on a specific subject can often be helpful.
Spline Machining
I'm trying to router some text into a part using a V cutter from an imported PDF, I've created a boundary, Tried converting to polyline as well as using the original spline but no luck on applying routering. Has anyone had any luck in this area? Help would be appreciated.
Employee Secure List
At our company, we've never had restricted access to the MV Template, Library Designer, or the Library. Anyone would be able to go in and modify/add/change the Template or Library if they needed. Since taking over our engineering dept., I've come to realize that this might not be the best practice. I recently came upon one of our drafters trying to make a change in one of his projects, but was unintentionally doing this at the template level. Luckily, I saw this and steered him towards the project
Toolbox.err file location
This is probably a question that only Microvellum staff will know the answer to. How does Toolbox determine where to place the Toolbox.err file? I have had this file show up in so many different locations on my machine and the server it's ridiculous. The latest file was placed in the Graphics\Hardware\Wood Drawer Slides folder. I cannot find anything in Drawing Options > Files that mentions error log files. The path for Log File Location is set to a folder on my C: drive.

We are pleased to announce that the update to Build 20.1.0526.641 is now available for Toolbox! We also added the ability to drag-and-drop an entire library
AutoCad Modeling Operation Errors
Not sure if this is an issue with working remotely or issue with toolbox or autocad but whenever i do a redraw or a file save i get a long delay and on the command line it is showing a modeling operation error - error code 40002 and 109028. Ways to resolve is just wait it out and sometimes it will come back. I have also logged out of my remote session and when i log back in the error seems to unlock itself. i never noticed the issue until the recent update of moving to the 20.1.417.642 build.
Specification Component improvements.
I have two suggestions i would like to make as improvements for the project specification groups setup menu. The first is when assigning components to specification groups, it would be nice if i only needed to select the specification group instead of expanding the group and selecting the specific sub component. The second is, the list of components on the right side of the menu. I would like the ability to open and edit the directly instead of selecting the specification group that is using the
Profile Pic
So i was trying to change my profile pic. The first thing i tried didn't work. I wanted to see if it was the image or the system so i tried another image i had on my computer. This one worked. Since then i have tried to change it and while it has changed on my profile page, when i go to make a post i still see the original image that uploaded.

Etemplate system
Can I use the Etemplate system that I have with Microvellum? I can't seem to find an answer to it.
Have you started planning for re-habitation of your office/work areas post lock-down?
With the lock-down restrictions easing here in Oregon and across the nation, it's been exciting to work on the plan to move back into Microvellum HQ. With any luck, it'll happen next week! We're loosely modeling our plan after Trump's plan and we took a few minutes to sketch out the revised layout for the office. Phase I – Volunteers may return to the office, telecommuting is supported. Phase II – All remaining workers return to the office unless one is uncomfortable or has a vulnerable person to
Editing hole setback locations for an Instututional hinges
I have been attempting to edit the hole setback locations in the Global setting for Institutional hinges and that appears to be the one hinge that has no input. apart from editing the nests I cannot find the number. all other types of hinge have a 1.4374 setback.
Ticket creation feature removed?
HI, I notice that you have removed: What product are you using? from the Ticket creation. Shouldn't this still be in the submittal form to assist in troubleshooting or have you found that if it's a problem in AutoCAD it's a problem in Toolbox OEM or visa-versa. Using: - AutoCAD 2019 (secondary - Library Designer cherry picking & shop support while working on new jobs...sparingly - don't want to work in same Project database) - AutoCAD 2020 (primary) - AutoCAD 2021 (installed & not supported)
Best Part Label & Where to Purchase
Looking for the best source of roll feed 4x2 labels that is low tack and easily removable from parts with our using mineral spirits and scrapers, yet durable enough to last through production.
New Knowledge Network - what happens to the "old" tickets
All of my open tickets have now been transferred over to the new Knowledge Network but my closed tickets still remain under "eSupport". Will we still have access to the eSupport or will closed tickets be brought over to the new platform? We reference old tickets from time to time and want to make sure we can still do this. Also, all of my transferred tickets show that they are 2 days old when in reality they are at least 6 months old. Will this be an advantage or disadvantage in regards to priority
Creating a Successful Quality Assurance Program
Quality Assurance is best defined as “a means to focus on the prevention of mistakes and/or defects during the manufacturing process that impact efficiency or quality that can impact profits.” Having a process in place to ensure you team adheres to the principles of a Quality Assurance Program will help you streamline your production and maintain high standards throughout the design to manufacturing process. Whether you are a design/drafting firm, engineering specialist or wood product manufacturer,

Microvellum Introduces New Software Versioning Schema
If you’re like most users, the version or build number of your software may not be that important. Whether it’s a beta major, minor, or beta build number doesn’t really matter, right? What is important is knowing whether or not the build you are running is the most current and being able to have a clear understanding of the features available in the software build. So, we’ve made some changes to our build numbering schema to reduce the confusion and help users be more informed. As of February 3,
